Irish Dance - Summer Camps

Jolly Jiggers

Mini Camp

5-10 Beginner July 17th - 21st (5 days) 10:30-11:30am $75 Learn the Basics of Irish dance including the Skip 2-3s, Sevens, and the Irish Jig. Dancers will learn timing, balance, and rhythm  through singing songs and dancing to music. Dancers will participate in other fun activities such as crafts and games.
Tiny Toes 3 & 4 Beginner July 17th - 21st (5 days) 10:00-10:30am $50 A class for the Wee Ones! We will introduce Irish music & dance  and help to improve cognitive skills and coordination. Dancers will learn timing, balance, and rhythm through singing songs and dancing to music.
Shamrock Shakers 10 & Up Beginner July 17th - 21st (5 days) 12:00-1:00pm $75 This class is for the older girls & boys who have not taken Irish dance before or have not in years. We put them on a more accelerated track to catch up with dancers their own age should they want to keep dancing in the Fall. Dancers will perform for their parents on the last day of camp.

Dancers will improve on current dance material, learn even more material, learn team routines, and participate in other fun activities such as crafts, games, and an end of the week performance.
Ceili Camp 6-12 Beg 2-Level 3 August 15th-17th (3 days) 9:00-12:00pm $75

Advanced dancers will learn Céilí dances, improve our basic skips/sevens and arm movements, while working with partners /teams of 4 & 8 dancers. All dancers will strengthen their team dancing skills while having fun with their friends.

Dance Camp 6-12 Level 1-3 July 24th - 28th (5 days) 1:00-5:00pm $150

Each day will consist of instruction in Soft & Hard shoe, Ceili dance, Show dances, Drills, Stretching, and Jump start on the next Solo material. The main focus will be on execution, carriage, posture, stage presence, and other dance techniques. We'll have a fun time with other activities as well, such as dance games, crafts, and trying other dance genres with guest instructors.

Bootcamp n/a Level 3-4 tba     This camp will drill solo material as well as build up fitness, strength and flexibility. Dancers will focus on technique, power, stage presence, fitness and flexibility.
